Bob Hall & Hilary Blythe – Travellin’ Light

Singer/songwriter, pianist, mandolinist and raconteur, Bob Hall, with his wife and stage partner singer/guitarist/bassist Hilary Blythe, are a formidable, combination. Acknowledged as Britain’s premier boogie woogie pianist, Bob has over 100 recorded albums and more than 100 published songs and tunes to his credit. Twice awarded UK Blues Instrumentalist of the Year, Bob was a founder member of The Groundhogs and US chart-toppers Savoy Brown, and has led highly successful bands Tramp, Rocket 88 and The British Blues All Stars, which included legendary members Charlie Watts (The Rolling Stones), Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac) amongst other rock royalty. He continues to tour and entertain with his sparkling technique, carefully crafted lyrics and dry humour.
In addition to her rock steady bass Hilary is a fine finger-style acoustic guitarist and an award-winning silvery-toned singer. With Bob accompanying on mandolin Hilary delivers an enthralling selection of blues and country folk classics.
