School holidays are underway and finding activities to keep the kids entertained can be hard. But we think we’ve found a great spot to help them burn off some energy.
While many choose zoos, local parks, theme parks, or swimming baths, one Yorkshire park has some of the most unique activities to enjoy. Stockeld Park, near Wetherby and Harrogate, has one of the most unique enchanted forests and playgrounds that is packed full of adventure.
It has raked in over 4,500 excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Some customers who visited the spot earlier this month (July) rated it a “super day out” with a “variety of activities for the whole day”.
Stockeld Park is a country house in Wetherby Road spans across 2,000 acres and is best known for its Adventure Park. Children of all ages can enjoy boating, pedal go-karts, motorised scooters, and range of themes events.
What’s more, families can enjoy the zip wire in Spider’s Lair, take a Teapot Slide or man the pirate ship at Woodsands Cove. One of the most unique features is the giant yew tree maze with over a mile of paths. Stockeld Park is also home to one of Europe’s largest indoor play centres, The Playhive.
There are four interconnected worlds of space, air, the jungle, and sea. Adventure across high-level walkways and down spiralling tunnel slides. Prices range from £15 to £18.50 per person for Summer Adventure and weekend ticket entrance. Take a closer look inside the adventurous Yorkshire playground below.
