Iceland in Woodseats is closing on Saturday, April 18, it has been announced.

A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the Iceland Foods store on Chesterfield Road, Woodseats in Sheffield will be closing on Saturday 18th April 2026.

“We are working closely with affected store colleagues to identify other potential opportunities within our network.

“The closest The Food Warehouse store is located at Heely Retail Park, Sheffield and we look forward to continuing to serve customers in the local area.”

Earlier this month, Matalan, a large home and clothing store on Heeley Retail Park announced it is closing on March 7.

A spokesperson for the retail park said it was set to be replaced by a padel club, opening this summer.

Padel is a racket sport, described as a mix of tennis and squash, usually played as doubles.
